Summer Student Opportunity

We have a fantastic opportunity for a student join our company, Contract Testing Services business based in Stirling for 3 months over the summer. The student will work with teams across different parts of the business, gaining meaningful industry experience.

The summer student will get the opportunity to undertake meaningful engineering work whilst collaborating with colleagues across various departments. The student will learn on the job, developing practical skills and personal competencies, whilst building relationships with colleagues across our business.

 

Your Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an intern to join our Engineering team within our company, Stirling site. You will be tasked with supporting the Facilities/Equipment Support Engineers in their responsibilities for maintenance, calibration and repair of Stirling facilities and equipment.

 

Who You Are:

  • HNC/HND/MSc Student, or recent graduate in relevant subject looking for work experience.
  • Proactive & organised
  • Knowledge or experience in working with hand & power tools.
  • Knowledge or experience in engineering principles.
  • Knowledge or experience in fault finding on electrical circuits.
  • Ability to always follow Health & Safety Requirements.
  • Good Problem-solver with a keen eye for attention to detail.
  • Strong communicator and collaborative.
  • Effective working as part of a team.
  • Computer literate.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work within a fast-paced environment.
  • You will be naturally self-motivated with strong initiative and drive.
