Manage and continually improve site EHS&S work, related ISO system, risk management related topics. Provide EHS expertise and technical guidance/advice to managers, employees and business based on local and global regulations and compliance to ensure full compliance based on EHS local/ global group standards and policies. Avoid injury/ damage to our colleagues and business.

Your role:

1.Ensure EHS policies, local and global applicable regulations, corporate standards/policies, and other requirements are fully implemented and well obeyed by employees, suppliers and provide EHS & Security trainings and guidance to employees to enhance safety awareness and knowledge.

2.To lead, drive, initiate and support site EHS and sustainability continuous improvement.

3. Implement EHS and Security audits for contractors/working places/employees’ behaviors, prepare reports, and monitor CAPA status. Provide professional comments and training on Safety / OH / Environmental / Security for site leadership team to make decisions if necessary.

4. To assess risks and hazards to employees, the public and the environment and plan and recommend appropriate operational controls to site management.

5. Collect and report EHS data according to local authorities/ corporate as per timelines. Represent the site internally and externally, be the first point of contact for stakeholders regarding site EHS&S topics and ensure proper follow-up.

Who you are:

•Education: Major Industrial Safety Management, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Publish Health background is preferred. Bachelor’s degree or above in EHS related disciplines preferred, but not limited.

•Working Experience: 10 years or above working experiences in EHS Environment / Health / Safety function in chemical and/or electronics relevant industries will be preferred. Experiences in multinational companies, >2 years’ experience in a leadership position in EHS field is preferred.

Technical & Professional Knowledge:

• Prefer candidates from electronics or chemical manufacturing related background, and with knowledge in management system including ISO9001/ ISO14001/ ISO45001. Knowledge IATF16949, ISO50001 and other developing standard/ policy is a plus.

•With certifications of Environmental, such as waste treatment / toxic substance management / wastewater/ air pollution management, certifications of OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) specialist/ Fire Prevention Manager/ ER/ public hazardous materials management, Process Safety Assessment, High-pressure gas production and ISO 14001/ISO 45001 Lead Auditor.

• Computer proficiency with Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

•Good in communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills. A leader and also proactive, committed and result oriented team player. Ability to work effectively across the matrix organization.

•Able to work under pressure and with confidence for success.

•Good written and verbal communication skills with strong leadership messaging, in both native language and business English.
