Your role: 

As the Head of Sourcing DS&S(Delivery Systems & Services) Asia and Global Contract Manufacturing, you will report directly to the Head of Sourcing DS&S and Specialty Gases and take charge of strategic sourcing; category management for a €170 million global spend portfolio which includes equipment manufacturing parts (such as valves, regulators, controllers, enclosures, tubing, etc.) in Asia as well as global contract manufacturing for buy-for-resale products. You will lead the overall source to pay process to ensure smooth execution while adhering to company policies and procedures.This pivotal role requires you to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders across the organization, driving growth in the highly competitive electronics sector.

You will act as a strategic partner to two regional general managers and global product management team for DS&S, formulating and executing comprehensive procurement strategies that ensure intentional spend allocation, sustainability, and diversity. Leading a regional team of 7 Sourcing Managers based in Korea, China, and Taiwan, you will leverage insights into market trends and supply dynamics to shape effective procurement strategies. Your leadership will also focus on mentoring and developing team members, fostering a culture of high performance and succession planning. Furthermore, you will play a vital role in regional business leadership team, collaborating with other reginal department heads to drive collective business success.

Who you are:

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, engineering, science, or business administration; an MBA is highly desirable.
• You possess in-depth knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes.
• You bring a minimum of 10 years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, sales, or related functions within global environments, preferably in the semiconductor, display, or chemical industries.
• You are recognized as a strategic thinker with exceptional negotiation skills and a cost-sensitive approach.
• You have a proven track record of building effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• You exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• You are a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
• You are a collaborative leader with the ability to inspire and guide teams.
• You are willing to travel and demonstrate flexibility in working hours to accommodate the global nature of the role.
• You are an experienced people leader, passionate about nurturing the next generation of procurement leaders.
