SUMMARY

The Supply Chain Data Analyst holds global responsibility for the following key areas:

• Serve as the primary liaison to the business team, coordinating cross-functional supply chain activities and ensuring alignment across stakeholders.
• Coach, educate, and enable colleagues - including sales teams and regional counterparts — to adopt a systematic approach that ensures data quality and analytical accuracy, encompassing data governance, standardized methodologies, and training.

YOUR ROLE

Global Demand Planning ( Depend on the specific requirements of the area supported)

• Regularly measure and monitor Demand Forecast Accuracy (DFA).
• Lead Demand Planning meetings and drive alignment across stakeholders.
• Perform statistical demand forecast management and simulate forecasts in APO.

Inventory Management Strategy (Depend on the specific requirements of the area supported)

• Develop and refine replenishment strategies (MTO, MTS, RTF).
• Analyze and maintain inventory settings (MRP) for finished goods.
• Optimize inventory levels across sites, with focus on Days of Supply (DOS) and at-risk inventory.

Critical Supply Planning

• Manage constrained demand scenarios and lead critical supply and allocation meetings.
• Drive inventory allocation decisions and lead internal allocation processes.
• Support and facilitate customer allocation as needed.

Projects

• Contribute supply chain planning expertise to strategic business projects.
• Deliver data-driven analyses and scenario simulations to support decision-making.
• Support the development of state-of-the-art reporting tools (e.g., as a key user) and serve as a subject matter expert for team members.

Reporting

• Provide monthly BI-based demand forecasts.
• Prepare and distribute monthly reports, including:
• On-Time In-Full (OTIF) Report
• Demand Forecast Accuracy Report
• Inventory Analysis Report
• Inventory Health Index Report, including input collection from sites on low-inventory items.

System & Data Management

• E-MOC: Fulfill roles as initiator, approver, and implementation tasker.
• Optravis: Manage intercompany transfer price settings and adjustments.
• Master Data: Select and maintain special procurement keys and valuation classes for supply chain routing.
• Winshuttle: Act as key user for material extension and material creation processes.
• APO: Maintain and configure intercompany shipping frequency settings.

•    Site Teams / Site Supply Chain Planning Managers / Material Planner on actual supply situation and upcoming constraints
•    Global Reporting Team for standard Company reporting tools and related reports and projects

•    Respective ISC Lead Team & Global Supply Chain Planning Team for regular reporting
•    Global Product Manager / Global Marketing Manager for Critical Supply Planning scenarios
•    Procurement on critical supply planning and simulation of demands
•    Site Supply Chain Planning Managers / Supply Panners / Material Planners regarding allocation decisions
•    Customer Fulfillment regarding allocation decisions and need for expediting
•    Global Reporting Team regarding business requirement for new / enhanced reports
•    Global Supply Chain Planning Team for expertise and training on reporting tools

WHO YOU ARE

•    The candidate should ideally hold a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Statistics or a related field.
•    Demonstrated Proficiency in advanced planning systems, statistical forecasting tools, SAP, APO DP, and Microsoft Excel is required. Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts is also required.
•    This position requires strong analytical, organizational, decision making, and presentation skills. The candidate must be able to perform advanced analytics with large amounts of complex data and have experience in data mining to identify trends, biases etc.
•    Strong interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the forecast process. Good facilitation skills are required.
•    Experience and formal training in Sales and Operations planning process is desired.
