We are committed to fostering innovation and excellence in everything we do. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager Field Service Engineer to lead a team of field service engineers within our LabWater Solutions. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of exceptional service for our hardware, consumables, parts, repair, and maintenance offerings, all while embodying our values of curiosity, responsibility, and collaboration.
Your Role
- Team Leadership: Inspire and mentor a diverse team of field service engineers, promoting a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and high performance.
- Service Excellence: Ensure the timely and effective delivery of services for installations, repairs, and maintenance of LabWater products, maintaining our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Build and nurture strong relationships with customers, proactively addressing their needs and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Operational Efficiency: Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and performance monitoring, to optimize service execution and enhance team productivity.
- Technical Guidance: Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for complex issues related to hardware and consumables, fostering a culture of innovation and problem-solving.
- Data-Driven Insights: Prepare and analyze service performance reports, leveraging data to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product management, and other departments to align on customer needs and enhance our service offerings.
- Continuous Improvement: Champion initiatives for process improvements and best practices within the field service team, contributing to our mission of advancing scientific discovery and improving lives.
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operation management or engineering, preferably in the laboratory equipment or water purification industry.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster collaboration.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, BI, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
