Job Title: End User Services Expert - Production Site Team Lead

 

Job Location: Meguro Tokyo, Japan

Job Responsibilities:
 

Key Responsibilities

Represent EUS Japan in the production sites (Onahama, Shizuoka, Ichikawa), counterpart of the administration manager of the production sites to provide seamless IT service with other IT team members.

The team lead will manage a team of 3 who will be located in each production sites (Ichikawa, Shizuoka, Onahama) who will act as the lead of support team for day to day support on all End User related Issues and Request in the production sites.

 

The role will also be responsible for Process optimization and improvement and Project Management for End User Service Department in Japan.

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

40%  Production Site Team management

30%  Process optimization and improvement

25%  Project Management

5%    EUS Operational Duties

 

Responsibilities:

 

1.Production Site Team management

  • Team Member Management
    • The team lead will manage a team of 3 who will be located in each production sites (Ichikawa, Shizuoka, Onahama).
    • It supports on their operational work as required.

 

  • Support Service Management for Production Sites.
    • Visit the site regularly and keep good relationship with each site's stakeholders and provide suitable support services to their needs.

 

  • Infrastructure Team Support
    • Work with the infrastructure team to provide stable network, server, and communication services for each site.
    • Support IT Infrastructure team for delivery IT, OT and Digital Plant Transformation in respective sites.

 

 

2.Process optimization and improvement

Analyze the current operation processes within the End User Service Japan department to identify inefficiencies and areas for optimization and improvement.

Current Activity are below:

 

  • Optimize the use of internal resources during routine manual tasks and periods of low workload.
  • Improvement for materials of IT user support (manual contents, announcement flow)

 

3.Project Management

This role will be responsible for EUS project management and Participate in Global IT team’s initiatives or projects as required.

 Current projects are below:

  

  • Windows Servicing version upgrade
    • Management for migration to Windows 11 in collaboration with global team.

 

  • Office Relocation
    • Management for relocation work of Printer, Monitor, Meeting Room Equipment.

 

4.EUS Operation Duties

This role provides basic end user support services as needed.

 

  • End User Support
  • Device Setup
  • Asset Management

Requirements

  • Proven experience in process improvement or operations management roles. (Required)
  • 3+ years of experience Team Management. (Required)
  • 3+ years of experience in IT Project management (Desired).
  • 3+ years of experience with global IT project rollout for local (Desired).
  • 3+ years Good hands-on technical experience working as Desktop Support Engineer, Supporting Enterprise Users Windows operating systems and software. (Desired).
  • 3+ years of experience working in international and diversified organization (Desired).
  •  
  • Travel (Up to 10% -20 %) – Mostly within Japan. Visit to require regularly to other production sites within Japan.

 

 

Certification

Bachelor’s degree (4-year college degree) (Required)

ITIL (Desired)

Microsoft Certification Program (MCP) (Desired)

CCNA (Required) or CCNP (Desired)

PMP certified (Desired)

Lean Six Sigma certification. (Desired)

Language

- Business-level Japanese speaker (Required)

- Business-level English speaker (Required)
