Position:  Group Manager Rare Disease Marketing

Major Responsibilities:

• Be fully in charge of marketing for rare disease franchise
• Own financial targets and OPEX for rare disease franchise
• Lead strategy for future rare disease portfolio, including launch activities for Pimicotinib in Tenosynovial Giant Cell Tumor
• Lead execution of strategy and tactics in close collaboration with field force and strategic planning
• Guide direct reports in creating launch plan and promotional campaigns
• Develop KTL (KOL) engagement plan, collaborating with specialty engagement
• Develop engagement plan in patient advocacy groups and execute it collaborating with patient advocacy team.
• Effectively utilize digital channels, collaborating with the BTS (Business Technology and Solutions) team.
• Build excellent understanding of disease area, competitive landscape, and helps educating other parts of the organization
• Manage external and internal stakeholders to ensure cross-functional integration
• Manage communication with global brand team on strategy and tactics

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 8-years of industry and 5-year Product Management experience in a Pharmaceutical company in Japan
• Leadership experience with direct reports
• Rare disease or Oncology marketing experience preferred
• Experience in new product launch preferred
• Strong financial and budgeting skills
• Strong cross-functional collaborator
• High level of independency, pro-activity and ownership
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in Japanese (required) and English (preferred)
