Department: EL-SC-CCJT Imp./Exp. Group/Logistics PM
Reporting to: Import/Export Supervisor

 

This role is accountable to provide services on foreign trade, import/export operations. Guarantee timely delivery of products by pro-active monitoring of processes incl.  administrative work along the import/export operations

 

Export operations(main scope ):

Arrange air/ocean shipment booking with Forwarders according to importing countries request arrival date
Prepare shipping documents (e.g. shipping instruction, proforma invoice, invoice, packing list...) for export customs clearance, and after shipment completion, send shipping documents to importing countries 
Coordinate among Forwarders / Supply Chain / Customer Service on delivery schedule ensuring export trade compliance
Invoice settlement on export related cost, filing of export related customs documents


Import operations - initially it is not main scope:

Arrange customs clearance with 3PL/Forwarders ensuring required shipping documents and necessary information such as HS code, import/export licenses (SVE, LVE)
Coordinate among Forwarders / procurement / Site on delivery schedule when to clear customs and possible delivery date to destination
Invoice settlement on import related cost, filing of import related customs documents
Ensure compliance for foreign trade related regulations and arrange customs clearance according to the regulations

Initiate projects to optimize and save import / export related cost (e.g. duty, demurrage, avoidance of foreign trade related penalties etc.) together with team manager

Proactively monitor and follow up of customs regulation changesitor as

 

Education
•    Bachelor’s Degree  [Business or related field preferred]

 

Work Experience
•    5-10 years’ experience in Foreign trade, import/export operations
•    System related experience: ERP (SAP preferred)

 

Job specific Competencies & Skills
•    Effective communication and social skills with basicEnglish for foreign trade related area with suppliers/importing countries
•    Profound customer-orientation and high level of business acumen
•    Ability, willingness and strong collaboration mind set to work in a complex, fast moving and innovation driven environment 
•    Preferred: Japan customs expert certification (Tsuukanshi)

輸出業務(主な業務範囲):

  • 輸入国の到着希望日に基づいて、フォワーダーとの航空/海上輸送の予約を手配
  • 輸出通関手続きのための書類(例:出荷指示書、見積書、請求書、梱包リストなど)を準備し、出荷完了後に輸入国に送付
  • フォワーダー、サプライチェーン、カスタマーサービスとの間で納品スケジュールを調整し、輸出貿易のコンプライアンスを確保
  • 輸出関連費用の請求書精算、輸出関連の通関書類のファイリング

輸入業務 - 初期段階では主な範囲ではない:

  • 必要な出荷書類やHSコード、輸出入ライセンス(SVE、LVE)などの情報を確保し、3PL/フォワーダーとの通関手続きを手配

  • フォワーダー、調達、サイトとの間で納品スケジュールを調整し、通関手続きのタイミングや目的地への納品日を確認

  • 輸入関連費用の請求書精算、輸入関連の通関書類のファイリング

  • 外国貿易関連規制のコンプライアンスを確保し、規制に従った通関手続きを手配

  • 輸入/輸出関連費用の最適化と削減(例:関税、滞留費、外国貿易関連の罰則回避など)をチームマネージャーと共に推進するプロジェクトを開始

  • 税関規制の変更を積極的に監視し、フォローアップ

学位

  • 学士号(ビジネスまたは関連分野が望ましい)

職務経験

  • 外国貿易、輸出入業務における5-10年の経験
  • システム関連の経験:ERP(SAPが望ましい)
