Your role: An exceptional opportunity has become available for a dynamic Manufacturing, Science, and Technology Manager. You will head the MSAT team who is responsible for leading manufacturing processes monitoring, life cycle management activities, process & cleaning validation, extractable & leachable qualification, complex process investigations, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. You will lead, coach, and mentor a team of scientists and technicians based in Tres Cantos-Madrid (Spain). You will ensure all MSAT activities are done in compliance with EHS and GMP requirements, according to established procedures, and ensure they are continuously improved. You will ensure projects led by the team are executed on time and in full. You will drive team performance to allow the fulfillment of the site, team, and individual objectives. You will foster the full integration of the team into the Global Biotech network. You will be responsible for the assigned budget.
Who you are:
You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or another Life Science related field.
You have solid knowledge and an extensive experience in biotech drug substance manufacturing.
You have a minimum experience of 5-6 years in leading complex and/or matrix scientific teams.
You have a proven knowledge of continuous improvements, lean, and six sigma tools.
You have experience in portfolio and project management.
You are a self-motivated, curious, and purposeful individual able to work independently and effectively collaborate with your partners and peers.
You are proficient in English.
