Your Role:

 

This position is to join an international team of engineers and process experts responsible for implementation of continuous improvement projects around an existing product portfolio and commercialization of new products from lab scale to high volume manufacturing.  Continuous improvement projects can include quality improvements, capacity or yield improvements, and cost improvements.  Role is in the Klebosol® business group making colloidal silica-based CMP slurries for use in the semi-conductor industry.

 

Primary responsibilities and location would be out of our manufacturing facility in Trosly-Breuil (near Compiègne) with responsibility for ensuring best practice sharing and implementation with colleagues at our sister manufacturing facility in South Carolina, USA.

 

The position can also involve a high level of direct interaction with end use customers (explaining CIP projects, aligning on new product/project deliverables, etc.).

 

Who you are:

 

  • Chemical engineering, chemistry or equivalent discipline bachelor’s degree,
  • 3+ years of experience in process engineering, quality engineering or process development 
  • English proficiency.  Fluency in German and/or Mandarin is a plus
  • Preferred background in semiconductor supporting industry or industry with similar demands on quality or change management (chemical, pharma, automotive, etc).
  • Preferred experience with customer facing communication and interaction.
  • Preferred familiarity with synthesis of colloidal particles and/or silica chemistry
  • Preferred familiarity/certification with quality and statistical process control or Six Sigma

 

Up to 10% domestic and international travel
