As a key player, you will support in the development and execution of the Value Management Centre’s strategy to create a value culture across our Process Solutions business and lead the expansion of support to global strategic accounts in the EMEA region. This role includes key collaboration with commercial partners and customer stakeholders on the qualification and creation of tailored value cases, as well as facilitating value improvement and productivity programs.

This position requires partnering with internal teams globally (product management, R&D, marketing, customer applications and internal scientists) in the development of tools and quantified value propositions for our products, services and integrated solutions.

 

Your role:

 

You are a result driven, independent self-starter with a passion for developing sustainable customer-oriented solutions. Proficient networker who embraces collaboration and can partner with subject-matter experts to collect, analyze and develop tailored value propositions and business cases. A skilled, experienced communicator that can present recommendations and solutions to internal and external stakeholders from bench scientists to boardroom executives. You can work locally and think globally with a strategic mindset.

Analytical Approach: ability to identify and define problems, as well as leveraging strong data to solve.

Agile Execution: ability to critically assess and position value based options in order to provide differentiated and innovative solutions

 

Who you are: 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BSc with 8+ years’ experience or MSc with 4+ years’ experience in the business related area or a scientific field.
  • 4+ years’ experience working in the pharmaceutical, life sciences or biotechnology industry.
  • Experience in a customer facing role, with a proven track record.
  • Proven success in a complex, matrix, international environment.
  • Strong communication (verbal/written), interpersonal, prioritization and organization skills.
  • Strong experience in presenting and communicating with senior executives.
  • Basic statistical analysis, and fundamental accounting/finance experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with financial analysis/modelling and Lean Six Sigma principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret financial statements.
  • Project Management skills will be a plus.
  • Additional language skills in French.

 

Travel expectation is of 10-30%, primarily EMEA region, but some international travel to customer locations and our facilities worldwide maybe be required.
