This role can be done in a hybrid working model from Warsaw office.

Your role: 
We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Tresury to join our Surface Solutions Finance Team.
The Surface Solutions Business Unit is subject to a planned divestment to the company Global New Materials International (GNMI) as of August 1st 2025.This role will be part of the divestment.
GNMI is headquartered in China. Surface Solutions is planned to become a standalone business under GNMI ownership. In this context, a fully-fledged, dedicated Finance function for Surface Solutions needs to be build-up. For this function we are looking for an interims Treasury Lead. This position is critical for establishing a fully-fledged, standalone finance function for a mid-sized international company with three production sites and over 15 legal entities across more than 10 countries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in treasury management and the ability to build and implement key treasury processes during this transformative period. You will establish end manage global treasury function and respective processes for Surface Solutions, in close collaboration with GNMI treasury team; ensure “Day1 readiness” and smooth transition into standalone setup. Oversee funding strategies and credit lines, oversee and manage financial risks, and maintain banking relationships to ensure financial stability of the newly independent business. Develop and implement cash management strategies to ensure efficient liquidity management, establish and oversee global payments infrastructure. Handover fully functioning team to GNMI Group Treasury after approx. 12 months. 
At the same time we offer an opportunity to play a crucial role in shaping the new Finance team and processes (with focus on FP&A and Controlling) of a newly independent business unit. verse challenges. This position is vital as we prepare for the planned divestment of Surface Solutions. 

Who you are:

• Proven experience (10+ years) in leadership roles in banking / treasury management, cash management, and financial risk management, ideally within a mid-sized international company
• Demonstrated experience in building a standalone treasury function, particularly in a multi-national context with multiple legal entities
• Strong understanding of financial markets, banking relationships, and regulatory compliance.
• Agile mindset, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with diverse internal and stakeholders
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
• Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance & banking, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional certification preferred
