Your role: As a vital member of the Cyber Protection & Digital Asset Security team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our Electronics Cyber Security operations. You will collaborate with the global Cyber Security team and the Electronics business to ensure the implementation of robust technical security controls. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and enhancing our technical capabilities, particularly in operational technology environments. You will consult on security measures for networks and endpoints, ensuring effective system hardening and patch management. Additionally, you will contribute to the creation of incident response and recovery plans tailored for IT and OT assets. Your role will involve working closely with engineering teams to identify vulnerabilities and oversee penetration testing efforts. By maintaining a strong Cyber Security posture, you will help protect our software-based products and applications. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our Cyber Security strategy and contribute to the overall safety of our digital assets. Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in intelligence studies, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience focused on Cyber Security, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO27000, NIST CSF, NIS2, PCI DSS, KRITIS / B3S PHARMA).
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build consensus across teams.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing security controls within infrastructure, with knowledge of networking, IDS/IPS, and NDR/EDR.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and executing incident response and recovery strategies.
  • One or more industry-recognized security or audit professional certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM, CISSP, CCSP).
  • Understanding of security challenges and regulatory requirements specific to the chemical and semiconductor industries is a plus.
  • A professional with a positive attitude, capable of thriving in a dynamic, team-oriented culture, and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (German is a plus).
