Your role:

We are the strategic Accounting Business Partner and serving as the primary point of contact for the CFO of specific legal entities in Europe. Our mission is to ensure financial excellence and compliance in the financial statements of approximately 140 entities, reporting in IFRS and 23 different statutory GAAPs. We collaborate closely with centralized accounting departments and the various Group Functions, including Tax and Treasury. Besides other tasks we keep our Business Partners informed about the financial development of the legal entities and take responsibility for certain activities as agreed with the CFO. In addition, we are responsible for the coordination of financial and tax audits and support other projects in various roles as assigned.

In this dynamic position, you will manage financial statements for assigned legal entities in Germany, ensuring compliance with German GAAP (HGB) and Group Guidelines to fulfill the ABPs mission and objectives.

 

Who you are:

  • Deep experience with German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS is a must
  • Used to research and preparing accounting treatments under both GAAPs
  • An experienced auditor with minimum of 3-5 years in a Big 4 audit company and/or holding an ACCA qualification
  • A self-driven finance professional with a proven track record of personal and professional development is essential
  • Used to collaborate in virtual teams and a strong facilitator for problem-solving
  • Possess a degree in a business-related field and solid experience in finance processes
  • Fluent in German and English
