This role can be performed in a hybrid model (2 days from the office/3 day from home) in Wroclaw or Poznan.

 

Your role:

As Payroll Accounting & Closing Expert (German market) you will ensure accuracy in the payroll process and ensure that all aspects of payroll are processed efficiently and correctly. You will process monthly payroll, taking into account all relevant tax, labor law, collective agreements and social security framework conditions. You will support payroll closing activities with monthly, quarterly and annual closings by providing relevant payroll data, coordinating the relevant ones in financial accounting while adhering to the monthly and annual closing deadlines and working closely with finance department. You will be the main contact person for related areas for questions regarding monthly payroll process and reconciliation of the corresponding accounts in financial accounting. You will closely collaborate with other departments (e.g. IT & HR Services) to ensure correct data in the relevant systems. You will take part in process optimization: driving forward ideas for process improvements in the area of responsibility and subsequent implementation (within the framework of company guidelines). You will design subject-related onboarding: induction of new employees through exchange of experiences, organization of training courses and acting as “buddy”.

 

Who you are:

  • Experience in Finance Department (General Ledger, Accounts Payable)
  • Experience in HR Shared Service Centre (German Payroll)
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of systems: SAP HR/SuccessFactors - good to have
  • Knowledge of HR processes and related IT systems
  • Very good knowledge of salary administration processes and the relevant German law in this area - good to have
  • Self-reliance and very good organization of work, conscientiousness, reliability and responsibility
  • Analytical skills
  • Highly developed communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in an international environment and to build strong partnerships with colleagues, business partners and customers
  • Fluent in English and German
