The holder of this position is accountable and responsible for defining and setting up a Process Excellence CoE hub to support the CFO Area, starting with the scopes agreed and aligned in the Finance transformation program Lumina. This hub will leverage on existing or to be developed capabilities in the GES organization in Merck.

The role is required to be familiar with the Merck Finance Process Framework (MFPF) while the CoE hub will be orchestrated & steered by this role. The CoE hub will encompass different capabilities available in GES, including business process management, knowledge management, process analytics/improvement, and automation/AI technologies.

 

Your role

Business Process management & governance:

  • Process lifecyle management, process governance framework, process modelling & architecture
  • Support selected BPM tool for upgrade with IT
  • Establish and run a Change Control Board

Knowledge management & Learning and Development:

  • Documentation and control link to the MFPF
  • Collaborate with GPO/BPO to build a strong GPO/BPO community
  • Facilitate onboarding for new GPO/BPO members
  • Owning the general GPO/BPO training assets and training implementation

Process performance & improvement

  • Collaborate with GPO/BPOs and the Innovation & Data team to deliver process insights through analytics, including process mining
  • Define and monitor process performance metrics
  • Team up with the Innovation & Data team for potential automation and other technologies to improve processes within the GPO/ BPOs community

 

Who you are

  • At leas 12 years of extensive experience in Business Process Management (BPM) and related methodologies.
  • Proven track record of driving process excellence and improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with process modeling tools and software, as well as the ability to design and implement process frameworks.
  • Experience in project management and change management practices, demonstrating the ability to lead initiatives effectively.

 

This role will bring in best practice introducing this to Lumina from GES PE CoE hub. The role is required to be strong in stakeholder management, influential leadership and strong in BPM with relevant experience.

 

This role will be based in Wrocław, Poland, with the possibility of a hybrid working model.
