This role can be done hybrid: 2 days per week from office in Wrocław.

Your role: 

We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional with a strong background in process automation to lead the identification and implementation of auto-certification and streamlining initiatives across financial processes. In this role, you will define automation rules, support technical teams through configuration, and facilitate design workshops while ensuring all activities remain strictly aligned with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Beyond strategic integration with cross-functional teams, you will execute regular Business Process Expert tasks within Redwood and Smartclose to oversee controls and avoid disruptions, while also taking ownership of global work instructions, procedures, and the training of Subject Matter Experts. Furthermore, you will act as a key collaborator with both internal and external auditors to ensure compliance and transparency across all automated and manual accounting workflows.

Who You Are:

-You bring at least 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
-You hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
-Professional certifications such as CPA or ICA are a strong advantage.
-You have strong process improvement skills and have hands-on experience with process automation tools and methodologies.
-You possess deep knowledge of ERP systems, especially SAP S/4 HANA or SAP ECC.
-You understand core accounting processes including Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), Asset Accounting (AA), General Ledger (GL), -Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP).
-You’ve contributed to large-scale transformation projects and can design and document end-to-end accounting processes with a focus on compliance and efficiency.
-Experience with Redwood (RunmyFinance) Finance Automation (configuration and implementation) is a great advantage. Also experience with Blackline or other Financial process automation tools are a plus.
