This role can be done in a hybrid option from Wrocław.
Your role:
You are responsible for global end-to-end (E2E) process design in General Ledger Accounting plus E2E closing processes to improve business outcomes. As a business process expert you define, develope and optimize process steps, roles & responsibilities, tools. You will take care of the following aspects General Ledger processes and related tools that are designed and implemented according to requirements laid out in the company’s global accounting guidelines and procedures. Transparency and measurement of assigned process area by defining process performance KPI. You may ensure consistent and high-quality documentation existing and up to date for the E2E processes within General Ledger. You will also deal with process improvements, automation and innovation is driven continuously in close alignment with Operational teams (mainly but not limited to Shared Service Center) and other stakeholders. You will also ensure the sustainability in usage of standard processes and following of standard structures defined in global ERP systems in close alignment within other Process and Project experts, Global Process Owners, and related IT departments.
Who You are:
- Solid knowledge and experience with General Ledger and Balance Sheet Accounting processes & reporting, end-to-end closing process experience.
- Knowledge in SAP FI is required, other modules like CO, SD & MM and cross module dependencies are a strong plus as well as hands-on experience in Inventory accounting
- Solid knowledge of IFRS accounting standards (or UK/US GAAP)
- Pro-active mindset, analytical and structural thinking with high motivation to drive optimization, harmonization, and process definition
- Ability to drive changes & continuous improvement across operative and project-related Finance-functions and related departments
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or similar field and at least 7-10 years work experience in Finance and accounting area
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to balance several on-going tasks simultaneously
- High degree of stakeholder focus, with the ability to understand their (possibly diverging) interests. Good stakeholder management skills
