This role is located in Wrocław, with the possibility to work according to our hybrid model.

 

Your Role:

 
As the Head of Legal Services in our Global Enterprise Solutions (GES) organization, you will lead a dynamic team of legal experts dedicated to providing comprehensive services for frequently needed contracts, compliance & data privacy issues, and various other legal matters. If you are a dedicated leader with people management experience, striving to nurture a high-performing team, driving service delivery and process excellence in a constantly changing environment, you are a great fit for this position. The role reports to the Wrocław Hub Leader and manages a team of legal staff in Wrocław, Poland.

 

You will develop, implement, and continuously adapt an effective and efficient legal support model for the assigned areas. Moreover, you will lead the team to provide excellence in client interactions and service delivery, including identifying and implementing measures to continuously improve legal support.  Your main responsibilities will include providing legal support to the assigned areas, particularly overseeing, managing, and leading legal services related mainly to drafting and negotiating agreements globally and across all of our company's business sectors (Healthcare, Life Sciences, Electronics, and Enabling Functions), as well as acting as a point of contact for any escalations.  

 

You will proactively identify legal risks associated with the assigned areas, proposing risk mitigation measures, and implementing these in close collaboration with the business. The role also involves active participation in the Wrocław Hub Leadership Team and building strong relationships with senior stakeholders, fostering close collaboration with senior business leaders.   

 

Who You Are:

 

  • Legal degree and admission to practice law
  • Experience as an in-house lawyer with in-depth experience in contract drafting, review, and negotiation
  • In-depth understanding and knowledge of legal services delivery within a shared service center model
  • People management skills – ability to lead a team of legal staff to ensure high performance and service delivery, ideally including team management experience of at least 10 FTEs
  • Experience working in an international environment and ability to work effectively across different cultures and manage global challenges
  • Proactive problem-solving approach when providing cost-effective and value-added legal advice with a strong sense of accountability and ownership\
  • Open, energetic self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent organizational, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Excellent language proficiency in English (written and spoken); German is considered a plus
  • Experience with metrics management, interpretation, and development
  • Interest in LEAN management methodology, with a focus on continuous improvement
