This role is located in Wroclaw with a possibility to work in hybrid model 3 days from home.

Your role:

 

As a Program and Project Portfolio Manager, you will be a part of the Business Services CoE Program & Project Portfolio Management team. Within the Business Services portfolio, we manage all initiatives, starting from ideation through planning and execution. You will collaborate with Project Owners and Managers of Business Services to ensure alignment of project objectives with strategic goals. Your core responsibilities are managing project resources and budgets and ensuring the successful execution of multiple projects simultaneously. Your role will include defining, implementing, and maintaining the portfolio and project management governance frameworks. Preparation and facilitation of status update meetings as well as overseeing the completion of project deliverables. In addition to day-to-day activities, you will contribute to the design and implementation of Portfolio Management related improvements and concepts. You will develop and execute strategies for managing and prioritizing the project portfolio to align with organizational objectives. You will manage project portfolio planning, including resource allocation, budgeting, and scheduling. You will foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and drive successful project outcomes. You will also monitor and track the progress of initiatives and activities within the portfolio. Coordinate and communicate with project managers and teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of milestones. You will maintain portfolio governance framework, including standards, processes, and documentation. Ensure adherence to organizational policies and best practices. You will also prepare regular portfolio status reports, metrics, and dashboards to provide visibility into program performance. Support presentation of updates to senior management and facilitation of portfolio reviews. You will capture lessons learned from program execution and facilitate knowledge sharing. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement lessons learned in future activities. You will define, improve, and implement project execution methodologies required to deliver project results for both, traditional waterfall as well as agile approaches.

 

Who you are:

 

  • 5+ years’ Portfolio Management, PMO or Project Management experience.
  • Proven experience as a Project Portfolio Manager or similar role, managing complex portfolio and projects.
  • Very beneficial: Global Business Services/Shared Service Center/Operations experience.
  • Strong project management skills (e. g. PRINCE2, PMI, Agile), certification is considered a plus.
  • Excellent English communication and negotiation skills are essential.
  • Team player with the ability to excel in an agile, collaborative, ambiguous environment.
  • Able to set priorities and execute accordingly – make difficult decisions and act autonomously.
