Your role:
As Senior General Ledger Accountant, you provide internal customers with high quality, accurate, and timely financial data and reports to enable informed business decisions. As part of Accounting & Closing Team we take responsibility relate to the monthly financial close in different countries, accounting processes and risk control to ensure i compliance with internal and external audits. Moreover, you provide set of financial activities during the monthly cycle, to ensure accurate and timely postings of financial transactions, preparation and execution of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS as well as ongoing work for the entities regarding accounting, active participation in the month-end closing process, handle payroll and other HR related bookings, reconcile and maintain multiple balance sheet accounts, participate in External and internal audit tasks, compliance activities and other related accounting duties as assigned by management, assist in testing Development (Key User community), evaluation, and development processes for system changes or modifications, assists in special financial analysis projects Furthermore, as Accountant, you use your expertise and previous experience to constantly seek out innovative ways of performing processes, to contribute to process excellence initiatives and to mentor more junior General Accounting team members.
Who you are:
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience in the preparation of financial statements, group reporting, Finance or Auditing according IFRS
- Experience within a Shared Services Center preferred
- Experience with SAP or other ERP system required
- Proficient written and spoken English
- Excellent quantitative, analytical, and Excel skills required
- Ability and willingness to work as part of an accounting team
- University degree in Business Economics with a focus on accounting or a similar qualification
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner.
