Field Sales Specialist BioMonitoring – Netherlands/Belgium

Your role:

A great opportunity has opened up with BioMonitoring Food and Beverages sales Team and we are looking for a Field Sales Specialist managing The Netherlands and Belgium (Dutch speaking area). This role will have the responsibility of the sales for the microbiological portfolio to the food and beverages manufacturers and contract labs.

You will be responsible for the business in your territory based on your direct activity, the one of the Account Managers and the dealers to support and develop the customer base. You will follow-up customer projects with an excellent time management and will provide the highest level of technical information to meet the customer expectations. As a sales specialist you will develop long-term relationship with key customers as well as identifying new business opportunities for innovative solution.

PERSONAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Typically requires a graduate degree (or equivalent) that provides knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts within a discipline. Scientific degree (min. BSc)
• Food/water microbiology skills is a plus
• Territory and business field proficiency
• Existing network with business unit and relevant customers
• 70+ % of time in the field
• Team player behavior - thinks beyond own target & area
• Excellent knowledge of the business unit -specific products, systems and digital tools used (e.g. Office 365, SalesForce…)
• Involves high willingness to travel
• Open to changes & Strong team worker
• High self-motivation and work with limited supervision
• Strong communication, selling, negotiation and presenting skills
• Valid car driver licence  

Based in The Netherlands (preferably) or in Belgium
